Woodcock Demonstration Garden
2711 Woodcock Road, Sequim WA
The Foundation owns and maintains the Woodcock Demonstration Garden on 2.74 acres. The garden presents a variety of gardening themes including: raised bed vegetable gardening, an ornamental grass garden, rose garden, ornamental color garden with displays of colorful annual and perennial plants, an ornamental shrub garden, a small fruits (berries) demonstration area, dahlia display area, and a cottage garden. Additionally there is an extensive orchard of fruit trees including a variety of apples, pears, and Asian pears. The garden is open to the public from May through early October during daylight hours. Master Gardeners gather at Woodcock between 9 and noon on Thursdays for work parties-a good time to stop by with gardening questions. The Garden provides a pleasant and tranquil place for picnic lunches or quiet respites in beautiful surroundings. The Woodcock Demonstration Garden is located at 2711 Woodcock Road, about 10 minutes northwest of Sequim and 20 minutes northeast of Port Angeles as a community educational facility.
